Miniature Calling Ring-necked Pheasant by Frank S. Finney (b. 1947) Capeville, VA, c. 2020
 
Folky and vibrant with plenty of attention to detail.  Dropped wings, with carved primaries.  Elongated tail, carved out underneath and rasped on the sides to immitate feather texturing.  Textured red wattle surrounding glass eyes underneath rasied carved out green crests.  All around its unique wide open carved out bill and carved tongue detail!
 
Species name written on underside, with the makers incised 'F' monogram and black ink 'Finney' stamp.
