Hard to find competing decoy.  Per competition rules the carvers cannot put their names on the decoys so this drake doesn't have Leo's insignia on the bottom.  Smooth, hollow carved decoy, with fine paint including scratch feather painting.
 
The keel is marked with a series of holes where Leo was testing weight balance to achieve the perfect float in competition.
 
Condition:  Entirely original with minimal surface wear from competition to include some paint flaking
