Tackeye Greater Yellowlegs - Mason Decoy Factory
Tackeye Greater Yellowlegs c.1900 by the Mason Decoy Factory in Spring plumage. There is a chance this could have been made as a Willet however the snout is snubbed just enough to make it a hard identification. We have proved a close up of the shape of the snout for educated buyers to draw their own final conclusion. Reference 'Mason Decoys - Goldberger/Haid' pg. 102-105.
Condition: Bold original paint with a nice dry surface. Hit by a few pellets face on. Slight roughage on tail tip.
12.5" weighs just under 9 oz.
