Swimming Merganser Hen - Elmer Crowell

A Red-breasted Merganser hen in an attractive and rare swimming pose by Elmer Crowell of East Harwich, MA c.1915.  Strong, early, oval brand on the underside with Crowells classic rasping to the back of the head along with detailed bill carving.


Condition:  Original with a nice dry surface
