Early and hard to find antiqued curlew by Bob.  Multi-piece construction with applied wing sides to create a plump bird.  The reaching curlew has an original elongated bill and glass eyes.  Bob distressed the paint and wood to give it an antiqued appearance then scuffed and put shot holes in the bird.  Signed and dated in pencil under the tail
 
Condition:  Mint as made by carver
