Very nice example from an early and hard to find era of Jess Blackstone's work.  The base is more shallow and does not bear his classic monogram or even species name.  Created between his broom stick base examples and his numbered catalogued examples so it does not have a number either.
 
Condition:  Very good original condition with slight blunting to the bill and a tight crack in the tail.
