Finely sculpted walking or feeding Long-billed Curlew.  Animated carving with two directional stick holes drilled out of the same opening allowing the decoy to stand as a feeder or an inquisitive walker.  Crafted with a distressed pitchfork iron bill and glass eyes.  Relief carved wings coming to a raised split over the tail.  Makers initials 'MH' incised under the tail.
