Museum displayed, rare Canada Goose by Anthony Spongia (1900-1982) Chalmette, Louisiana circa 1950’s.
Entirely cyprus root construction with full, relief carved wings with grooved feathering coming to a raised 'V' over a pointed paddle tail. It is believed Anthony had been carving since his teenage years and led an active carving life carving into atleast his 70's. This exact decoy has been displayed in atleast two museums over its life.
