Excellent matched pair of Pintails.  The alert drake has a slightly turned and lifted head while the sleeping hen has her head turned back with her bill covered under overlapping feathers.  Both are hollow carved and have Bob's famous bobwhite quail triangle lead pad weight on the undersides.  The carvings are covered in fine paint with the drake having comb feather texturing.  Both have classic raised 'V' wing tips and elongated fluted tail feathers.  Both are signed and the hen is dated 6/22/2001.
