Finely carved and rare example of a preening half-size mallard 'decoy' with an open bill.  Carved in George's premier style with raised and crossed wing tips over fluted tails.  Nicely painted with scratch feathering texture.  Hollow carved with a lead pad weight and leather line tie.  Stamped with George's knife making stamp on the lead pad weight.  Signed by George as well.
