Forward reaching miniature Redhead Hen by Elmer Crowell (1862-1952) East Harwich, MA, c. 1930's
 
Detailed paint that has mellowed nicely under a thin coat of varnish. Exhibiting Crowell's best efforts of blending multiple shades of brown to achieve soft feathering. Bears the makers rectangular stamped brand on the under side.
 
Condition: Original with minor spots of wear to bill tip and tail tips. Protected by a thin coat of varnish.
