Visually interactive song bird carving that invokes a story through appearing as if in  motion, its interaction with another object, and nicely carved details to achieve its folk-lifelike finish.  A Spot-breasted oriole with it's trophy black berry.  Frank is considered to be one of todays premier folk artist with a sincere following in many collecting communities that have driven his pieces in excess of $30,000.  Aged surface with partially outstretched wings, relief carved wing and tail feathers, carved beak details and grooves and a stem on the berry.
