Excellently crafted slat wood Brook Trout Creel by Emile Robichaud (1902-1993) of Medway, ME c.1984. Deeply carved out downward leaping Brook Trout with vibrant paint. Two trout flies and pine cone drawings decorate the top of the lid. Fish body leather straps hinge the lid to the body. Original shoulder strap. Carved out drainage ports on the bottom sides. Condtion: Very clean with very tight construction, small section of leather torn on one of the tails of the hinge fish. Small spot of grey paint on front bottom right.
