Exceptional pair of Widgeon by one of the Eastern Shore's premier carver and painters.   Elegantly sculpted in slightly more plump 'decoy' size bodies.  Embodying the sculptural finesse of Elmer Crowell's premier preening and lift wing look while masterfully immitating the appearance of the natural bird in oil paints.
 
They are lightly hollow carved with raised wings and relif carved primary and secondary feathers.  Both have the makers last name ornately carved into the underside with his classic accrylic 'pad weight' overtop a business card that is signed and dated with the species names.
