Rare life-size Wood Duck drake by Crowell c.1935. Turned head, glass eyes with great untouched paint and relief carved tail feathers and carved bill details. Two of the makers rectangular stamps are in the underside.
 
Due to the application process of the stamp, it is not uncommon to see two stamps in the underside of stamped decoys. If the decoy came out centered as Crowell had hoped then there will be two stamps present.
 
Condition: Near mint.  1/4" & 1/2" long paint flake missing from an in the making filled split.
